i feel like blogging.

so its time to blog

i know ive been on an extremely LONG hiatus.

the reason being is ive been doing lots of unnecessary stuff.

and the most time wasteful was spending sleeping till 4

i just wasted a half a day sleeping.

i felt terrible, and cant help but blame myself for sleeping late.

this is my cycle during school holidays.

and okay. i admit. i was back to my gamer self

this usually occurs twice every year during holidays.

i enjoy that part of me!

i took so much effort into finding my beloved game.

and what game you may ask?

KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES

it is the remake of the GBA KH: COM game.

i didn't get to play it almost 4 years ago as i did not have a GBA. and now its out on PS2!

so a hardcore fan like me~ will do whatever it takes to get a hold of it.

and yes i got it! almost 1 half weeks after its official release.

i searched SINGAPORE for it. seriously!

and now, i love JP as i bought it from there ~~

so, ive been playing the whole week before christmas.

i took 30 over hours to complete sora's story. as the card deck gameplay was abit difficult to adjust to. when i got used to it. it was fun! but when i got to the BIG BOSSES, i was stuck. so i had to rearrange the decks. it was very irritating.

jasmine was watching me play the last half of the game after she came back from prauge (:

and she was fiddling with the controller

while i was busy studying youtube videos on

and guess what she did?

when i was dead** (there was this screen that appears after you got trashed in the game)

she clicked return to title.

i lost 2 game levels because of jasmine

but due to loads of help from YOUTUBE.

i defeated that NASTY VEXEN! =D

i took more than 10 tries or so. seriously. he's a bastard D:

and yes that was one of my tedious gaming moments.

well. besides that. ive been spending loads of quality time with jasmine.

i went out to watch movies with her~

besides movies, we went shopping together too!

it was like bonding time.

since i missed her so much when she was in prague

then oh yes!

CHRISTMAS! it was a normal christmas.

but i guess my christmas tree was of no use! the lights were not even on for quite afew days.

went out with qinyi, jia hui, wanyu~ and well. had fun! (;

then had seafood dinner at a hawker centre with my parents.

cheap yet good seafood.

i will stop recalling all of these events and watch

i totally miss that day. like seriously. i think about the events that happened that day just swish by. like scanning every single detail in my memory.

that morning, i was filled with excitement. but. when i reached the venue, i know that i had a very pissy look as i climbed the god for saken mountain to reach np alumni clubhouse.

i was dressed in full black. LOL

and as they minutes passed by. i grew more excited. constantly thinking.

"im going to meet japanese students! 3 cheers!"

"oh shit. i cant speak japanese fluently! what am i gonna do!"

"do i look too boyish in my get-up!"

"is my fringe too short!!!"

those kind of crap thoughts. but when they soon arrived. all my thoughts just vanished.

then. my first impression was like. they are sooo cute !!! x))

we then got them to sit down and presentations and videos followed suit. then we came to group up! (:

that was when i got to know my group.

we played games. then chatted. and bonded. i had an awesome time. DD:

holidays is finally coming to an end.

i really enjoyed my time, even though i had no following income of money into my pockets.

i ate, i slept, i puffed up my face and gained weight. even went for a holiday abroad. doodling small art pieces on my mac. going out with my mum. enjoying the waste of time especially.

then, i felt. its time to do something. so! here i am blogging. (:

will blog about my time @ sentosa with my awesome and TAN-ed girls.

played disc, sun tanned, ate sandwiches, drank greentea,

AND LOTS OF FUN.

we waited for the beach train. and took it to tanjong beach! its secluded and i love it! ((:

and off we went finding a nice place to place our beach mat and play! ((:

we played what they loved most and it was frisbee ultimate. They talk about it all day. from what pivot leg and angles to flinging your wrist!

i can feel their love for frisbee (:

About my korea trip.

START!

sept 14 --- 5am~

me and my mum arrived at seoul's incheon international airport. and wow. * breathing in the air* it was really fresh. morning air. sighh.

its the start of a wonderful trip. !

first off. we went to the presidential palace. or somesort.

then we went to central seoul to see some temples.

------

and OMG! it was near seoul plaza! the venue that TVXQ will be holding their mini concert.

but. of course i wont be there to see the concert. D:

-sooo. i just snapped a picture of me with it. for memory sake~

later on, we went to this kimchi school and learnt how to spread kimchi paste on cabbage. HAR HAR.

then! we went to TIGER WORLD. a place where i first experienced how to SKI !!

and it was so bloody diff. especially when "us" tourist are such noobs. and all the pros are ski-ing without difficulty at all. LOL.

it was fun! but tiring. gahh. we mostly just took pictures instead of actually ski-ing. and how can a mere noob slide down the **mountain**. its like committing suicide if i did that. LOL.

sept 15 - morning

- woke up early morning and had breakfast ourside of the hotel.

later on went to see some fountain in seoul. it was nice. (: something singapore would never have, hahah. ((:

- was trying out my sister's shades. hahah.

we took a flight to jeju island at gimpo airport. (:

arrived at jeju island! and it was RAINING !!! DDD:

nothing much that day as we had to take the flight and moreover, it was raining D:

sept 16 -- TOUR in jeju !

first up, went on an hour bus ride to a mountain. and you bet that im going there again!

cause i didnt climb all the way to the top. as! i didnt know that the view was going to be a CRATER. >.> i thought that it was going to be a just more greens and water. haha. (:

so. i HAVE to go back. maybe during a diff weather. ~

later on, we went to some film site for a korean drama called ALL IN.

sept 17- return to seoul and bus ride to mt seorak.

there was really nothing much. haha. an hour long flight and another 4 hour long bus ride. what more can i say! haha

sept 18 - the climb of mt sorak

and as you can see. IT WAS REALLY HOT. climbing a mountain in an afternoon sun. gosh!

it was truely a scenic climb.

i just sat on the slope and enjoyed the sun? haha. (;

at the top. (; the peak is behind me. and it was really steep, so i didnt climb it. lols. my mum just kept telling me to not go so far. it was easy to climb up. but diff to get down.

mt sorak! (: was really nice. the hot weather was the price to pay. D:

i had another round ice cream when i got back down the mt. and gosh. was it delicious. (;

i rmb eating sweet ice cream and enjoying the view. it was spectacular. (:

later on, we went to the seafood street. lols. raw fish, sotong and octopus galore! just seafood and more seafood! (:

the squid we ordered getting killed. and sliced. LOL.

then we sat inside a cosy little place to eat the raw sotong. haha (:

sept 19 !!! - the second last day of my trip in south korea !!!! and as you can see through out my whole trip. i didnt get to shop one bit. D:

and! i only had 3 hours to do my shopping. how terrible can that get!

-in the morning, had to get up early and take a 4 hour bus ride back to seoul.

i squeezed a "tvxq" on my bread. hahah (:

finally reached seoul! and the tour guide brought us to places to buy ginseng etc. and i was so impatient as i wanted to shop for clothes!!

and finally, we went to myeongdong. bought stuff and i was carrying the idol merchandise i bought. so heavy D: but i couldnt complain. as i wanted to buy them. LOL.

did last min shopping and it was abit fruitful.

too bad that i didnt get to go to dong dae mun to shop at night. >.>

it was dissapointing but at least i got some stuff. best not to complain. DDD:

sept 20 - LAST day. and the end of my trip. >.>

had breakfast on some boat. then, bought some last min stuff like seaweed. and off to the airport and BACK TO SINGAPORE!

and you know what! the flight that i took back to singapore was the same flight that RAIN took to singapore! aint that cool? (: i dont have any evidence as im lazy to post. but i dont lie. (:

im going to be away for a holiday for about 8days, and will be back on saturday night.

as ive posted in my previous posts.. i got a wacom from my dear parents.

and this is my second attempt using the wacom, but first piece that i actually really poured all my efforts. AND I CAN SAY. it was really really really really difficult to handle. maybe its because i dont know the proper way to blend colors as im learning from tutorials online and youtube. and following the techniques that random users recommend. and this was the result!

tah dah! not very fantastic as compared to others. but hey. i tell myself that its a start ((;

the eyes felt so weird. it looked so alien and looks so dead to me. so i decided to complete everything first, the hair and highlights and decide if i should change the eyes later.

and hell yeah. i should. SOOOO.. another 3 more grueling hours with my eyes glued to the computer screen. and! it seems like my hard work seriously paid off!

I FELT SATISFIED!

and the hair ....was sooo difficult to color. my hands ached after stroking repeatedly. gahhhhh DD:

and i dont know of any other way! GRRRRR. i need to watch more tutorials.

well, and thats! my first hands on experience with the wacom, it was fantastic. but it was really different as compared to drawing using a paper and pencil. i still like the manual way moreeee~ but digital painting ROCKS! woohoo!

and tah dah! x) its complete! dont mind the doodles. i was fooling around ((; i didnt really bother coloring the neck and below properly though. i was tired enough.

this hot dude took me approximately 4 days. DD: four days is LONGG. but i breaked here and there. maybe i took over 20hours?

but yeah. i was satisfied. (: and im feeling really happy. so i wanna share with everyone my accomplishment ^^

im back to update!

its been a pleasant week. no hickups or anything just a very smooth week. AND I LIKE IT x)

besides the staying at home and everything, i went to NATSU MATSURI O8!

at CHANGI. - at the east side and im like staying at the west. lol.

i was really glad that i went for this matsuri. i had such an awesome time! and even though we had a HARD time finding the coach bay at EXPO and the horrible heavy rain, everything was just fine and dandy. (;

me and kezia, while we waited for the shuttle bus (;

when the matsuri officially BEGAN, we went STRAIGHT FOR THE FOOD, the food was delicious BUT. expensive. D:

it has been some time since ive last blog. and as many may know.

my holidays have started. (:

And i came to dread this holiday so much because there would be no school and i would be absolutely bored!

BUT NOW! i feel like im really enjoying this holiday of mine. ((:

its the same routine almost everyday. i start by waking up late, going to lunch with my parents, come back home, do something about what i need to do, have dinner, continue what i was doing, then sleep.

and back to the same basic routine.

and. it sounds boring. but i feel very relaxed. (;

i feel so relaxed to a point where i have lost track of time!

its very amusing ^^

and well. i went to malaysia today with my family- excluding jas because she had to study. and my neighbours to see some houses in malaysia (;

and it was very enjoyable. you dont get to see open spaces and large empty land in singapore.

when i was there, it didnt feel like malaysia at all! it somehow felt like "PARADISE"

Once again i have challenged myself to do something this weekend. which was to design a TVXQ fanclub shirt. and all i could do was something im good at. so naturally i tried to draw something out. and that above was what i drew. D:

it was really tedious. i had to sketch on paper. then thicken the lines using marker. then scan the picture. edit the lighting to get just the lines then paint it on photoshop.

AND. i did that is because i cant think of any other way! LOL

- does any one know how to do line art using photoshop? wahahahaha.

oh wells. i will just stick to my tedious method. and to think i used that method for all five characters!

can anyone guess who that is? =x

well well. things have been really normal. just minding my own business in my room.watching my anime. drawing when i feel like it. Flaring up at my sister for no reason which i feel bad for. and just plain listening to Dongbang songs everday. switching from my english song playlist to japanese to korean to chinese. and well. i can say i cant have it much better than this.

so. my last day in school for the semester was great. its been an awesome first sem. empty because i completed the IS modules during my dpa time, so i was basically "quite" free. (:

i was trying to design my own characters but it was so hard.i know how it feels to not come up with anything at all. and just whine and say my head is out of ideas.

well. i went to redang malaysia at the start of my limited 2 week holiday. it was FUN.
who wouldnt want to enjoy the SUN, CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER, FRESH AIR.
we took an airplane to redang island. the plane's interior was the size of an average bus! can you believe how small?? and the plane ride was a real live action packed roller coaster ride in AIR. and clouds were seeping into the cabin. its like fog~ ^^

we had dinner @ turf city - AHYAT seafood restaurant (:

i accompanied my mummy dear at home nearly the whole day and used my time to print out pictures for her bday card~

after dinner, came home to cut cake~ =D

the cake was a small and slanted cake! HAHHAHA. jas bought the cake near potong pasir after sch. The cake was not a VERY nice one as compared to the bday cake my neighbours bought for my mum =(

and! 28th march MARKS the day ive finally COMPLETED the game that ive put a hold on to for more than a year...

KINGDOM HEARTS 2! i took almost 1 hour to kill the FINAL BOSS. zzz i was getting pissed off because i kept on game over-ing

BUT. all was worth while~ the ending was SUPERB i tell yah =D

i completed the game in 32 hours~ @ level63

-started last friday and ended this friday.

i wanted to level up until 80 plus or so to complete all the side quests but. ahaha. i became lazy.

im now downloading some stuffs off z-degrees BUT i just dont get it! i know that i can extract files using some programs from the internet. im not talking abt RAR files now. BUT ZIP files!

i was playing my playstation 2

KINGDOM HEARTS 2 .aka. KH2

-ok. fine fine fine. i STOPPED playing it at the start of sec 4 OK!

there was exams. there was a need to study.

and in the game, i stopped at the FINAL BOSS.

when i wanted to continue, i cant possibly do that after not touching it for a year now can i?

SO SO SO. i restarted my game =D

on FRIDAY > 9 hours of KH2

on SATURDAY > 11 hours of KH2

sooo.. in total. that would be 20 hours of gameplay.

and so sorry to say. but i SERIOUSLY HATE IT. i cannot function it!
I AM like an official NOOB at it can?

1st problem
- no internet connection
Fine lah. my room is on the 2nd floor. and the modem and router is downstairs. so me, being the sad case here. have been coping with HORRID internet connections for 2 months now.
- fine. it is ok. but now, there is ONE MORE LAPTOP in the household. and the internet conection is only for the use of the laptops in my house. mainly my sister's and my dad's and mine.
it is an unsecured wireless but no one can leech from it as it only supplies the signal to our few laptops as we added the configuration "ID "
WHICH MEANS
this MACBOOK PRO of mine has no internet connection to connect to. and i cannot find the configuration "ID" on macbook.
microsoft i sure can find but MAC??!! NO WAY!
- SO. now i have got a macbook pro with no internet. that sucks

2nd problem
- i cannot survive without music! NEVER EVER!
so. i knew that macbook has a blutooth installed inside
so. i thought. why not bluetooth some songs from my HP to the macbook!
sure! fine! so... i tried to connect bluetooth.
but thy said need to connect as a device so. it said. then it tells me that
i HAVE TO SYNC MY WHOLE PHONE TO THE MACBOOK??
what the HELL??
-you cant expect me to pollute the every clean macbook pro with my nonsense HP junk right??!!

i've watched the movie
THE WATER HORSE today!

i felt really privileged as a student from the DPA course as they booked a whole theatre just for the NPP DPA students! shocking issint it?
so. i had a free movie today~

well. the story line was very MONO. and was a typical story of how the "water horse" grew up.
overall. its still good. enjoyed abit of entertainment. (:
i seriously need it.

AFTER THE MOVIE! it was back to WORK WORK WORK!
went to discuss on our mindworks presentation which is DUE on friday! *shit*
then. went to starbucks to work on CATS presentation which is DUE on monday! *yikes*
stayed all the way to 8plus.
AND! now. im sitting @ my table thinking of my content for socpsy journal 2.

last but not LEAST. we had mindworks TEST today.
and my socpsy group FINALLY managed to interview someone for our
PREJUDICE PROJECT!
me, weifang and zane rushed to bishan after socpsy @ 5pm. reached there ard 6.15pm
met with our japanese interviewee. had dinner with him and started our interview!

it was totally satisfying and i felt a sense of accomplishment!
i thank you tomomi shintaku! you were a great interviewee. (:

and that was it! my 2 whole weeks. (:
and now! ive got presentations to look forward to. >.>

he is finally turning 20 this year! (:

well. its monday. and camp is next thursday! gahhH!! im not prepared for it.
today started off with "CATS" and it was pretty exciting. the teacher gave us a puzzle to solve.
and told us to create a concealed shape. and our group finished the task 1st! butt.. it was not the biggest. ahahahaha. =D
then. we wanted to do another shape. sooo. here are afew pictures to show who excited we were x)

AHHHHH~ My weekend to rest. finally (:
i was able to sleep in last night for 10 hours of sleep.
but. the bad things was, i banged my head on the side of my table last night.

the NUH industry visit was a learning experience. we got to know more abt the equipment they use. and i think that im really not suited to hospital work at ALL. i feel so heartbroken when i see children and old folks lying on the bed being pushed away with tubes stucked up their noses.
i felt so SAD for them.BOO. x( i wish them all a speedy recovery!

the tour was over! and we waited for the bus to pick us up back to sch. but. the bus nvr showed up. soooo. we went back on our own. BUT! was a plus! plus! ++ for me~ as i had last min. plans to head to ORCHARD! so. leaving from NUH was better than NP. which was good =x
so. i rushed like hell to FAREAST plaza~ (:

The biggest impact today was the moment they flashed the top scorers name on the white screen in the school hall. Jasmine, being one of the top students every year. have put alot of pressure on herself and i didnt worry for myself but for jasmine.
i was so nervous when the names were screened. praying so very hard that jas name would appear on the screen. but it didnt after. names like liangle,yilin and raunaq. i was very happy for them. congrats~ ^^
but. jas name was'nt. i was so worried and nervous that the scores would get higher and higher. jas was already on the verge to tears and i was almost gonna cry...thinking that she didnt make it.
NOT until JASMINE's name was finally screened and she was 4th in level. with 12points.
you cannot imagine how happy i felt at that moment. my twin sister did well.
im SUPER satisfided and happy for her. (:
even though it was'nt up to her own expectations. we deserve what we get. and thats tat.

BUT.i imagined myself collecting Olevel results... waiting patiently and stressing-ly.
but. i bacame angry and impatient. LOL
i did complain alot. haha~ like *why SO SLOWWW * !!!! urghhh!!!* sy =x
lols~ mr.hayshim was very very slow in giving out the results and i collected mine at ard. 4.pm??
my 1st reaction when i received my results. were.... oh.
i scanned my report slip and was not satisfided.*its my own expectations* easily said... ive got 1A2.5B3.1C6
go do the math. if you wanna know my score. kekekeke, =D
ive got B3 for all major subjects. which was a big bumb to me :(
what made me happy was the fact that i did good for the school! i passed my chinese!! wahahaha.
many shld know that im the only person in the whole express level to fail MT during the 1st exam. and now. i got a C6!! everyone shld thank me for the 100% pass in chinese (: hohohoho.
the truth is. i did sulk. but im so over sulking.
i still think back on how i could have done better. but. what for!

this day is marked the final day of my life as a REGENITE.
FOUR years of intensive studying, cramming , mugging , crapping and playing in regent secondary school is over. and now. there are mere memories (:
and im proud to say that i LOVED every single day in rgt.
everyday was a day worthwhile, despite the conflicts, mugging and extra classes.
all turned out a day worth treasuring for the rest of my life. (:

but. jas didnt manage to join us as her knee was'nt very good and had to see the doctor. she might have accidentally sprained it during her pe lessons on monday.
The doctor said she had weak knees and shld wear a knee guard during physical activities.
sighhh.. i really wished for her to be there yesterday.

well! abt yesterday~ JAY CHOU 2nd concert in singapore 2008.! I LOVE YOU JAY CHOU.!
the concert was very good. he wowed the audience with his amazing voice and instrumental talents by playing the piano and gu-zhen.
he never failed to impress the audience by changing the lyrics and singing a different version of the song or by changing the tune and beat.
jay chou. i salute you!
he also interacted with the fans by mentioning how grateful he was to singaporean fans and was deeply touched and moved that he got to hold his concert on his birthday. (:
and that was his 1st time ever! a birthday concert ^^* same as kim junsu.~*
However.. the concert intro failed to impress me. i thought that it was'nt dramatic.
But. i enjoyed it overall~

i went to NgeeAnn POLY open house today!
my future school O.O
it was my 1st trip down to NP alone today. i had to walk to kent ridge terminal and take bus151 to the poly. (:
it was fast! wahahah. my future sch is so NEAR. one bus and im there!
i enjoyed my time there together with friends and we toured ard the canteen.... school of business... school of engineering.. and many more.
BUT. what i totally enjoyed was the school of FILM,MEDIA&SOUND.
the school facilities was awesome. i loved it ^^
i cant wait to start school on the 28th JAN! *yikes* and olevel results is releasing soon!
im scared.
well. i better not think of the *what ifs* i will go crazy. i must enjoy my last few days of holiday.

Tuesday is over and I Decided to go out with wanyu and jiahui for the day. and spent half the day at jurong point. overall was enjoyable ^^
its been awhile since i last went out with friends.
we went to the coffee bean for some coffee after a round of walking as my feet was KILLING me. LOL. *due to wearing of heels* sigh. :(

what is most meaningful today?
I successfully SCRUBBED, SOAPED and RINSED my beloved adidas shoes that was stepped on during the TVXQ concert last december. and also dirtied with sand during my trip to egypt.
and now its pearly white CLEAN x)
i have a sense of satisfaction! *woots*! =D

To end off 14th jan 2008? i SAW a star formation under singapore SKIES!
its really beautiful. (:
afew days ago.. lauretta jie was explaining the star constellations and formations as she is taking astronomy as an elective. and she told me abt the ORION which was a constellation and blah blah. dunno wad nebula* opps. i dont understand. but what i know is the it has a triple star formation and spread cross with 2 more stars at the left and right together forming a CROSS shape and with many more other stars it forms ORION.
and whats more. i remembered seeing it in under the skies of EGYPT! i knew that it has to be something as the stars was shining so brightly and at that particular formation*as i only remembered a CROSS*
BUT. today! ican ASSURE/CONFIRM that what i saw today is really the ORION.
i googled it and here's what i found (:

hahhh... its finally sunday.and tmr is monday!
Well. i cant exactly remember wad i did today. but jas went to collect her scholarship award at yewtee CC (:
we saw van and yanhong.! jas later told me that she saw sher there as well and they were together ^^
Later on we went to my grandma house for a reunion dinner. since she wont be ard during the lunar new year. :( its so sad! wont be going to her house on the lunar new year!!

oh! And to end of 13th january 2008, i helped jas with her GP assignment! LOL.
GP is really difficult. the topics are as followed
: Fear is the root cause of all discrimination. how far is this true?
: Are parents increasingly unable to protect their children?
and jas picked the discrimination topic as she didnt have the POV of a parent. LOL.
and i helped her with the discrimination topic. we surfed the net for relavant topics and settled for AGE discrmination. Then there was also a need to write it in a certain format that the GP teacher wants and so on. SO, there! i helped! with my help she was able to complete her HW. (:
hmmm.. she wants me to help her in the future. ^^ i will try my best. LOL~ but... im not that good though =x
and wads more, her maths hw is something like Amths but of a much higher level. she is now on the topic surds. i read through her ans from her hw. (: i understood it.but... until the part where she applied the new formula i went all confused XD

well.! its monday now.~ will have to think of what i would do for today.

oh. i didnt manage to escape out ofhouse today. jas was tired. both physically and mentally. AT least she is able to go out with her new JC friends after school. ^^ gd for her.
she even swapped uniforms with her friend who is a st.marge. SO. her friend looks like a plain regenite! while jas looks like a st.marge student! its so cool!
Too bad. i wont be wearing anymore sch uniforms anytime soon. the nxt time would be during the collection of olevel results. Ogosh! O.O
well. i wish jas all the best for her homework.*complaining ALOT to me that she hates doing HW* LOL!
